A LITTLE ABOUT OUR HORSES AND WHITEHORSE RANCH

Whitehorse Ranch is the only United States source for the Canadian Versatile Horses. These fine horses were bred in Alberta, Canada. We have all ages, horses of almost any color, and even some ponies! This is not a specific breed of horse, but is a crossbred type that is known for durability, good bone, and great disposition. Our “Canadian Versatile” horses should not be confused with the pure Canadian horse breed, “Cheval Canadian”, also known as the “Canadian Horse”.

The Canadian Versatile Horses are legendary for their gentle dispositions and strong bone.

They will go from ranch to recreation to the show ring; these horses are the best trail horses in the west. They can be used for pulling, driving, dressage, cross country, trail riding, ranch work, in kids’ camps, 4-H, Pony Club, whatever you need.

Whitehorse Ranch supplies the riding horses used in five different Oregon resorts, as well as several working cattle ranches.
